Rachel graduated from Columbia University's Nurse Midwifery program in 2010. She spent her first four years as a midwife building meaningful relationships with expectant families and colleagues alike in northern New Jersey where she attended over 500 births. During those years, she honed her craft and cultivated her healthcare philosophy born from genuine trust in the women she serves. Prior to her life as a midwife, Rachel studied Anthropology at The University of Massachusetts, Amherst, traveled extensively in Latin America, and managed two different restaurant/bars in the East Village. Its exciting to ponder all the lives that Rachel will touch as a member of the team at Midwifery of Manhattan!
