Midwifery of Manhattan is proud to announce the birth of our new weekly Breastfeeding and Newborn Support Group

All new mothers and their infants are welcome to attend. Midwifery guidance and peer support will be offered in a nurturing environment. Pearls of wisdom will be shared about breastfeeding tips and newborn care. Topics will include: breastfeeding positioning, latch, avoiding sore nipples and infection, milk supply, adjusting to lack of sleep, normal newborn development, returning to work, relationship with partner, family, friends, and the joys and challenges of new parenting.

Day: Fridays
Time: 10:00 am - 12:00 noon
Facilitators: Laura Zeidenstein, CNM & Rebekah Ruppe, CNM
Advanced midwifery students will also participate as consultants.

Healthy snacks will be provided.
